Instagram Worthy Places in NYC
New York City: One of the most popular, highly-visited destinations in the world. I can understand why too. It sure is beautiful! “Instagrammable,” in fact. Therefore, you will find below, 15 of the most Instagram Worthy Places in NYC.
If you want some awesome instagram worthy NYC views...

1. The Edge
The Edge is my new obsession, which is why it’s number one on my list of instagram worthy places in NYC. It’s a glass surrounded balcony, with a partial glass floor, 100 floors up in the Hudson Yard’s Shops and Restaurant Building. You do have to pay a small fee to get to these amazing views, but I promise you it’s well worth the Instagram pics!

2. Millennium Downtown New York
So if you are looking for instagram worthy places in NYC to spend the night (that also won’t break the bank!)… look no further than Millennium Downtown New York. I have nothing but positive things to say about this wonderful hotel, only a stone’s throw away from the World Trade Center! Don’t believe me? Check out my full, honest review of the accommodation.

3. The Roosevelt Island Tramway
Want those insta-worthy, above city views, without dropping a fortune on a helicopter ride? Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret. The Roosevelt Island Tramway will take you above city traffic, the Queensboro Bridge, and the East River all for the price of a trip on the subway!
If you want an artsy instagram worthy background...

4. The Morgan Library & Museum
Excuse my mask (we are living in COVID times after all), but the photo above is only one of the many unique backdrops that you can use for your photo shoot at the Morgan Library & Museum.

5. The Graffiti near the World Trade Center
I found this one randomly after checking out the 9/11 memorial. You can find the wall pictured, and several other graffitied backdrops, along Fulton Street, right across from the Oculus Center (see below). It’s pretty neat! I’m not sure how long it will be there for, as it appeared to be on walls and gates that can be removed, so I would check it out soon before it’s gone!

6. The Oculus Center
Across the street from the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Oculus shopping mall has unique architecture that makes for a pretty interesting photo backdrop! Just as a photo tip… if you go at sunset, after the center and the nearby memorials are closed, it won’t be crowded and you’ll have more opportunities for photos!
If you want some NYC instagram worthy brunch...

7. Angelina's Paris NYC
Have breakfast, brunch, or high tea straight out of Paris at Angelina’s Paris NYC! You won’t regret your food experience or the amazing photos you’ll grab there!

8. The Bar Room at The Beekman Hotel
The Bar Room looks like something out of a fairytale, and the food is presented beautifully. I assure you that your Instagram feed (and your stomach) will thank you for visiting this place.
If you want some unique NYC...

9. The Smallpox Hospital
I mean can you even believe this place is located in NYC? I couldn’t until I saw it myself. The Smallpox Hospital can be found on Roosevelt Island and is free to visit after paying to get on the actual island. See #3 on this list for info on the tramway, though you can also access it via subway or car/taxi.

10. South Street Seaport at Night
South Street Seaport is pretty neat in the daytime as well, but I personally think the views and photos are better with the city lights at night. Don’t you agree??

11. The Vessel
Okay, the Vessel is definitely more “instagrammable” from the top, so I would highly suggest climbing it if possible. Unfortunately, it has been shut down for such a long time that I have yet to experience the climb myself. However, it is open now so I will likely do that soon, and of course share the photos!
The four remaining places on this post will likely be on any list just like this. They are four of the most popular attractions in New York City, and honestly, I don’t think they need much explanation. For this reason, I will just leave these photos right here for you:
