I recently took part in an adventure with Daytrip in France, from Paris to Reims. I’ve been in France for a week now, and I must say, the experience with them has been one of the highlights. We started out being picked up at our hotel in Paris by our private driver in a comfortable luxury sedan. We drove through the countryside, looking out the car window at the sweeping views of the vineyards belonging to the Champagne Region of France. Our driver pulled over many times, allowing up to stop and take photos of the beautiful views. We arrived for our excursion, where we toured a wine cellar and spent some time drinking champagne. 1) Door-to-Door Private Chauffer Service
Daytrip will arrange to pick you up directly from your hotel (or airport, train station, or anywhere else) and bring you to wherever you need to to go. Absolutely no extra walking required! Nor will you have to carry your own bags. Our driver carried our suitcases to the car before we left in Paris, then brought our bags in right up to the front desk of the hotel when we arrived in Reims. Also not included: sharing rides with strangers. Daytrip is a private service, just for you and your group alone!
2) Personalized Stopovers & Unique Experiences
Daytrip is not just a car service that gets you from Point A to Point B as fast as possible. It is a tourist activity, in which you can arrange stops to visit both popular and unique attractions on the way to your destination. These stops can be prebooked on the Daytrip website and your driver will stop and wait while you explore, before heading onwards to the next point of interest.
During our trip, we stopped at Moet & Chandon Champagne House for a champagne cellar tour and wine tasting. If you happen to be going with Daytrip from Paris towards Reims – this stop comes highly recommended! Our driver dropped us off and we had two hours to explore and relax while he waited. For each stopover, you are able to select how long you wish to stay at each place in advance on the website. However, our driver was very flexible, allowing us to grab some food when we were done with the tour.
3) English-Speaking Drivers
All Daytrip drivers are English-Speaking, making it easy for tourists to communicate their needs throughout their journey. Our driver, Zak, was both friendly and professional. An added bonus was when he would slow down and show us points of interest as we were driving by, sometimes even stopping so we could roll down the window and take photos!
5) Hospitality & Comfort
The goal of Daytrip and their drivers is to ensure your comfort during the trip. Water is provided upon entering the vehicles and throughout the trip. While not noted as an inclusion, our driver even provided us with snacks! The car itself was quite comfortable and clean. Your driver will also be sure to keep the temperature at a level you prefer throughout the trip.
4) Timeliness
The Daytrip team makes timeliness an absolute priority! Our driver was at our hotel, ready to pick us up, more than 20 minutes early and waited patiently for us to check out. We had a booked tour on the way to our destination, for which we arrived with more than enough time to spare. Lastly, we arrived at our destination earlier than expected, providing us with extra time for the evening.
6) Safety
Our Daytrip driver ensured we got from place to place safely, observing all traffic laws appropriately.
7) Flexibility
A much appreciated bonus was when our driver offered to make stops at our request for additional beverages, food, and restroom breaks. This, in particular, makes Daytrip much preferrable to taking public transportation.

Daytrip is a great way to arrange private transportation while on vacation for an affordable price. Most trips in economy vehicles are very reasonably priced. I cannot express enough how simple it is to book a ride with Daytrip. Their website is extremely user-friendly. Simply input your point of departure, your destination, desired date and time, into the search box. You will receive an initial quote for the journey. Then, there will be options for selecting recommended stopovers. The total price will be adjusted, and you can book by filling out the online form, selecting payment and pressing submit! Pay by credit card in advance, or select the cash option to pay your driver in person. All major credit cards are accepted when paying online. You will receive an initial confirmation via email. Then, a few days before your trip, a second confirmation will come along with your drivers name and car information. It’s truly as easy as that!
